| |
| Picks come in many styles, but the most predominant type are "pop-sickle stick" which have handles which stick out right behind the pick head and resemble a pop-sickle stick. Pop-sickle type handles can come either as a single sheet continued from the head of the pick, or have laminations of other metals/plastics to make the pick easier to hold. Because many picks come without this pickers often put on heat shrink tube or electrical tape to create a handle which increases comfort without jeopardizing too much feedback from the pick.
