Construction
The R6 uses 6 pin stacks with stainless steel key pins, brass drivers, and phosphor bronze springs. The nickel-plated brass key is reversible. The nickel-plated brass cylinder contains anti-drill pins. R6 formats include Euro profile, UK oval, and rim cylinders. The ISEO key blank code is 020839.[1]
Disassembly instructions
A double Euro profile cylinder can be disassembled with the aid of a pinning shoe or a segmented follower. When using a follower, pull both plugs out a bit to allow cam removal, then rotate the plug to approximately 4 o'clock or 7 o'clock (135 degrees either clockwise or anti-clockwise) to prevent drivers from entering the gaps for the cam clutch. Then a segmented follower can be used to remove the plug.
