(Forensic Locksmithing Certification)
(No difference)

Revision as of 04:21, 6 August 2009

I am not sure where to add it, but during the Lockpicking Forensic presentation at DEFCON that in individuals that had contacted IAIL and had had mixed results. The classes page (http://www.iail.org/classes.htm) on the IAIL website appears to be a bit date (last date in 2008). I did a little research and found that at the annual ALOA convention the required classes Investigative Locksmithing I-III are offered (http://www.aloa.org/convention/pdf/Education_Classes.pdf). From that same link:

"This series of three full day classes is required for ‘Certified Forensic Locksmith’ certification through The International Association of Investigative Locksmiths (IAIL )."

So, if one is interested in learning more that might be the place to get trained and certified.
