The Master Locksmiths Association is a locksmithing organization based out of the United Kingdom. Founded in 1958, the MLA has grown to become the UK's largest and oldest locksmithing organization. The MLA also owns Sold Secure, a physical security testing and certification organization.

History

The Master Locksmiths Association began as a friendly meeting in London in 1958 but grew to be a limited company in 1986. In 1994 the organization went through a major restructuring and is now open to worldwide membership.[1]

The MLA hosts regional meetings, trainings, and the MLA Expo, billed as "Europe's largest locksmith and security exhibition".
