Chubb was originally an English lock manufacturer that produced lever locks and safes. They are well known for their Detector lock.
History
Jeremiah Chubb patented his Detector Lock in 1818. With his brother Charles, he established Chubb Lock Manufacturers the same year, in Wolverhampton, England.[1]
