ABUS (August Bremicker und Söhne) is a German lock manufacturer that produces low and medium security padlocks and lock cylinders. ABUS is well known for their durable and easily identifiable brass pin-tumbler padlocks used throughout the world.

History

ABUS was founded in 1924 by August Bremicker.[1] It has remained a family owned business since then.

Lock Listing

Padlocks

Please note that many ABUS padlocks are identified by two numbers, for example: ABUS 72/40. The first number is the lock model and the second is the width of the specific lock (in millimeters). More narrow versions of a particular model often have fewer pins and reduced security features compared to wider ones.
