Slim Jim

A standard Slim Jim bypass kit.

Slim Jim is the trade name for a brand of bypass tools that open automobile doors. A slim piece of metal with a hook on the end is inserted between the window and the door frame and used to directly manipulate the latch mechanism.

HPC Inc. originally manufactured "Slim Jims", but the term is generalized for a variety of automobile lockout tools.
