Slim Jim

Slim Jim is the trade name for a brand of automobile bypass tools that allow entry to locked car doors. A slim piece of metal with a hook on the end is inserted between the car door window and the door frame and used to directly manipulate the latch mechanism.

HPC Inc. originally manufactured "Slim Jims", but the term has become generalized for various automobile lockout tools.
